School choice has made unprecedented gains in 2021 thanks in part to the Pandemic and in part to the strong leadership of politicians in states that have been willing to buck the unions and bring long-overdue reform to American education. You can see a list of achievements here. 

The Rio Grande Foundation remains deeply concerned by New Mexico’s poor performance and the relative paucity of choice so it started a new educational effort within the Foundation called “Opportunity for All Kids New Mexico.”  Edwin Aybar Lopez with OAKNM comes into the conversation toward the end.
