Center for Truth in Accounting gives ABQ a D grade for its overall fiscal condition. Unfunded liabilities and pensions are the cause of the poor grade. The Rio Grande Foundation has been up in Santa Fe at the Legislature. Specifically, the Foundation has real concerns about HB 85 which would prohibit local RTW and HB 31 which would raise the minimum wage to $12 an hour. Finally, Paul and Wally briefly discuss the Albuquerque Journal’s cartoonist John Trever and a recent cartoon of his.
